HORTICULTURAL- POSITIONS
1. LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION: Individuals with experience
and/or horticultural training. This is a full-time seasonal position
- post -secondary students may be considered. Individual must be
flexible and willing to work long hours. Work involves the
installation of landscaped gardens including paths, patios, water
features and planting beds. Must have an eye for detail and take
pride in quality workmanship. Good driving record and own
transportation to Elginfield area required. Wages commensurate
with experience.
2. NURSERY WORKER/DRIVER: 40 hrs./wk. position delivering
nursery stock to Garden Centres and landscape contractors.
Must have excellent driving record and strong communication
skills. Candidate must be well groomed and personable.
Knowledge of perennial plants important; job will include nursery
work and propagation. Full-time seasonal - post -secondary
students with horticultural background will be considered.
3. STUDENT HELP WANTED FOR NURSERY WORK: part-time
after school (2 days/wk) and some Saturdays; full-time summer.
Must have good manual dexterity and an eye for detail -some
