Hensall's top Hogs
WEISASOS
The Hensall Peewee Hogs won the Southern WOAA championship last week by beating Belmore 8-7 and
5-1 in the best two out of three final series. Front left: Matt Martin, Jason Small, Jeff Smale, Travis Shelton,
Gaelan Minhinnick, Ryan Campbell, Robert Erb, Nathan Regier; middle left: Kevin Ferris, Justin Fields,
Shaun Thomson, Jacob Hovius, Shane Timmermans, Danny Moir, Matt Forrest, Erik Lawrence; back left:
coaches Shane Pfaff and Dave Annen and manager Bob Lawrence. Absent are trainers Dave Campbell and
Joanne Moir. Hensall went undefeated in the WOAA playdowns. The Hogs were runners-up at the Young
Canada Lions tournament in Goderich earlier this month after losing the final to Ripley. The Hogs are the
first Hensall team in 38 years to go to the finals at the Goderich tournament.
