Entrants were given three swatches of material. The swatches were to depict Huron County. Entrants were from throughout southern Ontario. First - Shirley Grubb, Mildmay, second - Muriel. MacKenzie, Luctcnow, third - June Sparkling, Owen Sound, fourth - Grace Drummond, Mitchell, rah- Jean Richert, Petersburg. Honourable mention went to June Klassen of London, Kathryn Cale of Goderich and Ann Sanders of Sauble Beach. Alan Powe introduced guest speak- er Peter Garland. He has been very involved in John Davidson's across -Canada walk, Jesse's Journey, a Father's Tribute, to raise funds for genetic research. Garland joined Davidson several times during his walk, including the beginning in Newfoundland and the ending in Victoria, British Columbia. Brent Caslick thanked Garland for speaking about this inspirational story. A question and .answer period followed. Centralia United Church will host anoth- er Fun Night for the Sunday School children tonight.
