January 27, 1999 Cregan bowls highest triple By Ron and Jean Dann ZURICH - Zurich Association bowlers Rose Rader, Jerry Hetherington and Ted Stanlake travel to Torpnto Saturday to compete in the presi- dents, secretaries and treasurers divisions of the Ontario Five Pin Bowlers' Association (O.F.P.B.A.) three game, pins over average, Provincial rolloifs of the National League Executive Championships. The president, secre- tary and treasurer who beat their average by the most pins in their respective categories, will each win a one-week 0-1 holiday trip for two including transportation and accommodation. The Zurich Association is a division of the Bluewater Zone T Association., Doubles winners The team of Jen Glazier and Lynn Feeney won a recent three game, pins over average Zurich Association rolloff of the O.F.P.B.A. High Low Doubles tournament at Town and Country lanes, and will now join other Bluewater Five Pin Bowlers' Association teams in advancing to the three game, pins• over, average Ontario Championships Feb. 27. at Hamilton's 49 lane Sherwood Centre. All teams in the Provincial will be divided into four divisions. Each team shall compete against all other teams in their own Division for the purpose of determin- ing a Divisional Champion and the win- ners of trips to Florida. Highest triple Zurich Association president Mike Cregan recently bowled Town and Country's highest triple of the season 882,E including 333, 323 and 226 games while Jerry Hetherington and Roger Ward hold the record for pins over average in a single game with plus 142 and 141.
