John Rasenberg said Lucknow's powerplay seemed13
to be the difference. 'a
Both games were physical with some heavy hitting t
and some stick work behind the play. The Chiefs 1
coaching staff is concerned about Lucknow's low hit-
ting style that could injure knees and ligaments. The
coaches complained about the lack of calls on the low t
hitting from the referee to no avail.
The Chiefs will be eliminated from the OMHA play- r
downs if they lose tonight at home at 9 p.m. If they i
win, they'll head back to Lucknow on the weekend for r
game four of the best three out of five series. g
Soldan said the Chiefs need to play the physical game
and shoot more on the Lucknow net if they are to win g
tonight. p
"They have tended to try to work in too dose and
ultimately not get the opportunity to shoot," Soldan t'
said.
The Chiefs also have eight Beechy Juvenile LeagueTI
games left as well as the playoff's. They could play up i
to three games on the weekend to make up for post- g
poned game due to snowstorms as well as the OMHA
playdowns. t
