Once upon a time on
Christmas Eve we. were

now."
So .,we tried to ger to .
sleep -but we just could-
rr'1. We turned on the
.radio and we heard.
"Santa is stuck in the
snow and can't get out'"
"0h,oh," said Lisa. "If
,Santa, is stuck then hey
can't give us some pre- .
seats."
"Let's Just go 'to
sleep.'' said Sandra.' It
was still snowing very
hard. We -tried to 'go' to
sleep.
,Then. 1 had an idea.
"What if we go to sleep
and don't think about
anything. He will come."
"Well it's worth a try!"
said Dena. Sb we went
to sleep for two hours
and . then woke up
because it wasn't ,work-
ing
Su we thought and
thought for half an
hour. Then Lisa had an
idea.. "Let's wish that
,the bliza,rd ,would
stop.'
So we started to wish
and the • snowstorm

In all the excitement,

in the manger, and the
wise men travelling from
afar, guided by the,. bright
north star., that in.the same
sky shines still as bright."
Opening presents .the
very next day, the chil-
dren's dreams did come
true, not stoners Iwr lumps
of coal, but a dog, a toddy
bear, some .games and a
cute little puppy.
Some hours later the
family arrived. and talked
fur awhile. They sang
Christina songs as they
carne to the dinner table.
They feasted and smiled
and had a,great time.
When it was all over, the
children again remem-
