Sympathy of the com- munity is. expressed to Ken and Marg Baker, in the death of his brother Earl Baker who passed away suddenly in, his 86th year at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer, on October 25. Gary and Sheona, Don and Sharon, Ken and Marg Baker all attended the funeral on October 28. After an absence of sev- eral years we were happy to,welcome some goblins on Hallowe'en night. Hugh and Annie Morenz recently visited Beverley Ford, her son John and grandson Warren, at Grand Valley. Happy 47th wedding anniversary wishes this 'month to Earl and June Rader: Ilappy November birthdays to Elizabeth Adams and Dennis Schroeder. Get well wishes to Earl Ratz who has been hospi- talized. Bob ,and Liz Coghlin, Tiffany and Tatyana, of Atwood, - and Ken and Marg Baker were Sunday visitors with Elliott and Kay Clarke at Grand Bend. Alberdina Westerhof, who has been visiting in Ontario for a few weeks with her sister-in-law, Annie Zielman and other relatives, returned to her home in Dalfsen, Holland on October 29. Visiting with the Morenz's on October 24 and 25, was Shirley Dell and husband Cliff, from Belleville. October ' 19, the "Dashwood Good Companions" met at the CommunityHall at 7:30 p.m. with_ 31 members present. After singing 0 Canada and reciting the Lord's Prayer TliPr1lad the roll call, secretary and treasurers report, card report and correspon- dence looked after with President, Evelyn `Pickering in charge. Some members attend- ed the Fall Rally at Holmesville on October 21 with Dorothy Restemayer providing a reading for the group. Next meeting will be November 30 along with, the annual Christmas din- ner at 6 p.m. Meeting adjourned by Melvin Stade and Ray Rader and all repeated the Senior Citizen's prayer. Entertainment was an enjoyable evening of stringed musicandclosed with light refreshments.
