Contests and activ- ities are run throughout the year. The first .session of the 1998-1999 school. year will be held on "Thursday. October 22 from 7:30 - 10:OOpm. At South Huron, Gr. 9 stu- dents do not presently have a drama option in the . Arts - program, although they do experi- ence -both music and visu- al art: Drama Day is being held to introduce students to drama in the classroom and includes two workshops. The first workshop deals with helping students to become accustomed to dramatic activities and to work. more comfortably and spontaneously in a new, large group. In the second workshop, stu- dents work in groups to experience imaginative role-play and explore'var- ioos real-life scenarios. 'The •University Inform ation Program will be held at Madill and offers a chance for graduating students to learn about each individual Univer- sity's programs and- cam- puses. It is organized to help students with the tough decision they must. face about which University they wish to attend. There will be a bussing cost of $5.00.
