right now."
Irish co -coach Jason Bukala was dis-
appointed with his teams performance.
"It was like a glorified pick-up hockey
game to be honest," Bukala said. "We
lacked intensity and focus."
Exeter's game at Thamesford on
Friday •night was postponed due to the
amount. of Hawks players involved with
commencement festivities at South
Huron District High School.
The Irish were edged by host Belmont
5-4 on Sunday.
Belmont is leading the Yeck
Conference at 5-1-1-1 (wins, losses, ties,
overtime losses) and 12 points.
"They play well In their own barn."
I3ukala said of the Bombers.
Lucan started the week by winning
their home opener 9-6 over Parkhill
North Middlesex. Bukala said his team
played well in the first period when the -
Irish went up 3-1.
But the Irish's nagging discipline prob-
lems popped up again with Parkhill
notching four goals in the first eight
minutes of the second period folhiwing a
number of Lucan penalties.
The Irish needed a shorthanded goal
to tie the game 5-5 to put themselves
back together in the third period.
"Against the better teams you can't
take those type of penalties where they
can bury you," Bukala said. - .
Henderson, Mulligan and Judion
scored two goals each with Costello,
Greenlee and Dunbar picking up singles.
Costello and Dunbar, also picked up
two assists each while Mark Phillips,
Jaremchenko, Hardick, Greenlee,
Wheatley; • Steer, Henderson and
Mulligan helped out on one goal wicll.
Lucan's record rests at 3=2 ..id six
points over five games played, goon for
third- place .tn the 'Morenz Division
.behind Parkhill (4-3, eight points)' and
Mitchell (2-3,0-2. six points); •
Lucan next hosts Seaforth tonight, an
