This little two bedroom home was built in the early 1950's and a new
kitchen was added in 1975.
When Jim and Sue purchased it in 1995, they took the house back to
the outside walls; tearing everything out of the house. The only original
parts of the home are the outside walls and one interior wall between
the living room and the northeast bedroom. They finished .most of the
basement; added on the master bedroom and installed new siding.
A carport, tool shed and porches arc also new additions. •
With hard work and loving care, the Rolph's. have turned this little
house into a beautiful, cheery home.
Elmer and Jennie are the third owners of this 1960 raised ranch. huilt
by Larry and Jack Taylor: The Rowes have completed extensoe rent
tions during their six years of -ownership
Elmer's desire for a backyard with little grass and lots of trees has
resulted in -a large triple -deck surrounded by :a 12 -foot cedar privacy
hedge. The largest part of the existing garage is now a family room
looking out to Elmer's rose garden.
Jennie designed a complete kitchen makeover resulttng to a compact.
efficient work place for this busy cook. Partitions have been widened to
make a much more open. concept and a wooden banister replaced the
original wrought iron railing by the stairs
