Regional finals from where the
team finishing with the most points
will advance to the Scorecard Pro-
vincial Championships April 19 at
Newmarket.

Three of the five week Black
Tower Provincial Team Tourna-
ment league rolloffs have been
Completed in all Bluewatcr Associ-
ation howling centres and will wind
up February 16. Winning teams
will advance to the Black Tower
house rounds March 2 to 16.

LUCAN - Tina Riley won the
Provincial Final of the Hiram
Walkers ' Special Old National
League Executive tournament in
the secretaries division. She howled
this at IIeetway in London on Sat-
urday. She bowled games of 213,
252 and 311, which was 293 pins
above her 161 year-end league -av-
erage.
Riley won a one week trip for
two to Honda this coming Novem-
her and she will also be competing
in Ottawa on April 25 and 26 at the
National. finals. If she is fortunate
enough to win at this event, then
she would have an extra week in
Florida.

Dannis Daubs: who was rcprc-
senting Lucan in the treasurer's di-
vision, did extremely well also. Ile
placed third by howling scores. of
191, 234. artd 158 to finish 137
pins above his average at Arcade
Eastown in London. Daubs won a
telephone answering machine.
Larry and Lynn Smith completed
a "Judge of Play" course, which
will be compulsory to be a Level 2
coach for next season. This course
was conducted by Jennifer Guay,
president of the 'Ontario •Five Pin
Howlers' Association.
On Saturday night, a "Scotch
Doubles" tournament was held at
Lucan Lancs. Coming in first were
Jeff and Betty Allison with a total
of 1155 for five games. They also
won a prize by bowling a 292 sin-
gle. Cheryl Smith and Rob Riley
placed second with a score of 1 122
and a high single of 265. Third
place went to Sue and Jamie Bond
as they bowled 1098 and a single
game of 329. Others winning high
single game prizes were Bah and
Brenda Smith and Pat and Frank
Palen.

On Saturday the Exeter team
won its first game of the season
with a 7-2 win over Stratford. Jill
Sararas , Becci Farquhar and

Rowe assisted on the goals and
Jana Webster guarded the net.

focus," she said.
This is the fifth time. she 'will
compete at the provincial •level. .
Last year Culbert competed at a
,long course Provincial swim meet
in Toronto where she placed fourth
in the 20) in. breaststroke. .
Despite • missing . the mark 'for a
bronze medal, Culbcft still con-
siders her swim at the provincials
