lowing an explosion that rips through a local garage. Wayne Hamathcr was using an oxygen acetylene torch
when the explosion took place. According to Exeter Fire Department Chief John Morgan a definite cause of

service for Varna -Goshen was hcfd
in Goshen on Christmas Sunday
with the church decorated by Helen
Keys. li was the fourth Sunday of
• Advent and the Candle of Joy was
lit by Joanne and .Doug •Reid and
fiunily. Linda, •Linfield and Ralph
Stephenson read scriptdre readings.
Sunday evening a "Light in the
Darkness" service was held in Var-
na. This was a Christmas service of
prayers and scripture readings by
Valerie Laurie. Joe LatKie and Car-
ol Simons with music.
Candles were lit by Marianne
Hayter. Everyone was given a
paper hall to hang on the tree, re-
membering the people or events
that drew everyone there. Follow-
ing this. everyone lit their candle
and everyone: kept it lit until they
left the sanctuary.
The Stan Lee Club will meet Jan-
uary 7 at 12:30 tioon for a soup,
sandwich and dessert luncheon.
Church services will be in Varna
on Sunday. January 5.
