EXETER - November started on
a high note at the Exeter Villa with
a very successful bazaar.
On November 4, 16 women went
to the Bayberry for an enjoyable af-
ternoon tea outing. Another visit by
the Thames Road Guild was much
appreciated by the residents.
Music by local groups and indi-
viduals is an ever popular event at
the Villa.
This month the residents wel-
comed the Merry Makers; Christian
Reformed Choir; Mozart and Mar-
tin Gelinas; Marlene Mathers and
Eric Kints; Tom and Rose; Jim
Young Band and the Ivan Norris
Band.
Mary Connelly also shared her
talent at the piano. Another regular
event is the Thursday afternoon
singsongs under the leadership of
volunteer Annie Lytle, assisted by
volunteers Sally Lou Raymond and
Lucy Sage.
A special Remembrance Day ser-
vice was held on November 11,
conducted by Rev. Roushorne and
members of the Exeter Legion.
The participation of members of
the area clergy in conducting
church services on Wednesday af-
ternoons is much appreciated by
the Villa people.
Residents boarded a Charterways
bus with Harvey Smith at the wheel
to attend the Santa Claus Parade on
rSweaters, 100% Wool Yams,
• Rag Rugs, Primitive Folk Art,
and Much More.
