Dining for
Seniors
EXETER - Thanksgiving and
Halloween were both celebrated
this month. Turkey and all the
trimmings for Thanksgiving din-
ner was served. Rev. Kevin Rut-
ledge from Exeter Baptist Church
was the speaker who gave an ap-
propriate Thanksgiving message.
"The goodness of God" and "In
everything give thanks". Several
answered the question, "What are
you most thankful for?" Lots of
different answers were submitted
including good health, friends
and family. Ruth Arthur gave a
reading entitled "Fill your heart
with Thanksgiving". Marguerite
Thomas from the Huron County
Health Unit also joined us in Oc-
tober to speak to about "Active
Living for Seniors". Thomas

presentation. Many tips were giv-
en on safety in the home and out-
side. Also, she stressed that activ-
ity should be a rad of your daily
life with regular exercise. Activi-
ty may not add years of your life,
but it can add life to your years
and it is a way to stay in shape.
"Life is wonderful, Life is Sweet.
If you want to prolong it, move
your feet." All enjoyed the pup-
