married in Granby on July 27.
On August 31 friends and rel-
atives were guests at a gar-
den party at Mathers' farm
near Wingham to celebrate
the marriage. Lorrie and Nath-
alie will be working for North-
ern Telecom and residing in
Versailles, France for the next
two years.

Cheryl Anne Masson, daughter
of Leone and Howard Masson,
Fergus, Ontario and David Allan
Reid, son of Margaret Reid and
the late Harold Reid, Campbell -
ton, New Brunswick, were united
in marriage in Melville United
Church, Fergus, Ontario on Sat-
'urday, July 27, 1996.
Honoured attendant was Dana
Shantz. Bridesmaids were Mary
Recoskie, Kathleen Nolan, Kathe-
rine Andersen and Tammy Prin-
gle. Katrina and Tanya Masson,
nieces of the bride, were flower
girls. The best man was Frank
Kingston and ushers were Davin
Bartello, Shawn Eagles, Marc Le
Cocq and Stephen Ross. Andrew
Masson, nephew of the bride and
Morgan MacCurdy, nephew of
the groom, were ring bearers.
The happy couple hon-
eymooned in California and now
reside in Exeter, Ontario.

September meeting
EXETER - The September meet-
ing of the PCW was held on Mon-
day September 9 at 2:30 p.m., 19
members and three guests sat down
to a delicious pot luck lunch con-
vened by Miriam Roushome and
Jean Easton. A wide variety of food
was enjoyed by all present.
President Jean Easton opened the
meeting with a poem. A short devo-
tion was given by Miriam Rou-
shome opening with prayer and
then hymn 233, Love Divine all
Loves Excelling was sung. Scrip-
ture read by Roushome was from
1st Corinthians chapter 13 and He-
brews chapter 13, verses 1 and 2
was on Love.
The guest speaker Rev. Ken Ma-
crae was introduced by Rev. Dan
Roushome. Macrae spoke on pasto-
ral care, giving us many good ways
to improve on visiting skills and
care giving. Little things can mean
a lot. Go visit with a positive atti-
tude, humor and laughter can be
quite healing. Miriam Roushome
thanked Rev. Macrae for his humor
and thought provoking message.
Hymn 437, Take time to be Holy
was
President Jean Easton presided
for the business. Reports of com-
mittees were given. Fall anniver-
sary will be October 20 with
P.C.W. providing lunch after the
church service. Executive meeting
for Presbyterial will be October 4
at 1:30 p.m. in Seaforth.
Fall conference will be held Oc-
tober 23 in Goderich. There will be
a planning meeting for the fun
night on October 2 at 9 a.m.
The meeting closed with a
thought for the day and prayer by
Jean Easton.
