On June 20, 1996 Mother Nature struck our community with a
devastating blow. At 1:30 a.m. the job of cleaning up the mud and
water seemed like an impos-
sible task. Suddenly staff,
family, friends and even
strangers off the street
gathered together and began
the clean up. It had to be
done and yes without the
help of these dedicated indi-
viduals it would have been
impossible.
Thank You does not seem
like enough but I think those
involved know the depth of
my gratitude.
I would also like to thank
all of the customers who
helped us clear out the dam-
aged merchandise. By now
90 per cent of the damaged
merchandise is gone and
Dinneys is returning to our
normal operation.
I would also like to express my sympathy to all of those
families in the community that experienced similar circumstances
and 1 very much appreciate their supporting our business when
having to replace damaged furnishings in their home.
Mother Nature seems ruthless at times but we shouldn't take
for granted all the wonderful things she does for us and how good
life really is. Thanks again to all of those awesome acquaintances
and friends.
