NOTICE TO PUBLIC UTILITIES
WATER CONSUMERS
To conserve water the Exeter Public Utilities will limit the use of hoses
for the watering of lawns and gardens. This requirement includes new
lawns and sod.
Effective immediately and until further notice, the following schedule
for the use of hoses will be permitted.
Please note revised hours:
Residential Customers (households)
Sunday to Saturday inclusive
7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Commercial Customers (businesses)
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Some customers are watering lawns and gardens at the rear of their
house during the restricted hours. Customers disregarding the restric-
tion periods_will be given one reminder of the restriction and if there is
a reoccurrence the customer risks a fine, or having their pressure re-
•:uced, that would eliminate watering with a hose for the balance of
the summer.
The commission does not wish to curtail any customers watering, but
in fairness to all customers that adhere to the restriction it must en-
force this policy.'
The co-operation of all customers will be appreciated.
Exeter Public Utilities Commission.
