Valentine dance

SAINTSBURY - St. Patrick's
Holy Communion Service was held
at 11:00 ,a.m. Sunday February 13.
Rev. Stephen Emery for his chil-
dren's focus talked about today be-
ing a joyful Sunday, it's a day when
we celebrate a very special time
that Jesus had with some of his dis-
ciples, when they felt God very
close to them.
Sunday, February 20, St. Pat-
rick's Morning Prayer Service will
he held at 8:30 a.m., Lent I (Year
B). Scripture readings are to be
Genesis 9:8-17, I Peter 3: 18-22;
Responsi a reading Psalm 25:1-10,
The Holy Gospel Mark 1:9-15,
Sunday School theme "New Begin-
nings".
Michael and Suzanne Davis and
family were Sunday dinner guests
with Mrs. Dorothy Dietrich. Lennis
was celebrating a birthday.
Ralph and Joyce Simpson were
visitors with the Davis's recently.
St. Patrick's Sunday School chil-
dren are once again donating mon-
ey to "Sleeping Children Around
the World" founded by Murray and
Margaret Dryden of Toronto. Each
$28.(X) donation is a bed kit con-
sisting of items such as a ground
sheet, mattress, sheets, pyjamas,
blanket, sweater and personal care
items, up to 25 items per kit de-
pending on local needs in undevel-
oped and developing countries.

CENTRALIA - The hills were
fast and the weather perfect for the
Youth Group tobogganing party on
Saturday afternoon. Snowmobile
rides, hot chocolate and donuts
wrapped up a fun afternoon.
Barb Triebner of Strathroy will
be the special guest speaker at Fri-
day night's Womens Ministries
meeting at 6:45 at the church. All
women are welcome and encour-
aged to come and hear what she has
to say.
Regular hnday night voiieybaii
will take place also on Friday night
at the Exeter Public School.
A time of fellowship was enjoyed
after the evening service on Sunday
night for the occasion of the 35th
wedding anniversary of Ken and
Marlene Parker.

and community members, will assist the Huron County Board of
Education in developing a policy on antiracisrn and ethnocultural
equity as well as a plan for implementing its policy Boards must
submit their policies and implementation plans to the Ministry of
Education & Training no later than March 31st, 1995
