The program topic was Public Relations convened by Nora Wissel and Margaret Oakley and the roll call was answered with blues chasers. The motto 'To make life most worthwhile, try to remem- her to wear a smile' was illustrated in a reading 'Happiness Is' by Mar- garet Oakley. Elsie Dann read an article for Nora Wissel about Dia- na, Princess of Charities' which told of her work in public relations. Muriel Lewis chaired the meet- ing. Correspondence included the F.W.LO. president's letter and a thank you from the Wildwood Nursing Home residents. The list of articles donated in December to the Children's Hospital of Western On- tario was also red,' and the F.W.I.O. questionnaire was dis- cussed. The Granton Fire Department held a public demonstration of the 'Jaws of Life' equipment on Satur- day afternoon. At St. Thomas' Anglican church on Sunday, Rev. Stephen Emery's message was about corning close to God when weary and heavy laden. Service time next Sunday will be 8:30 a.m. on the fifth Sunday be- cause of the Vestry meeting at Saintshury.
