The purpose of this open house is to receive public input and
comments relating to Floodplain Management in the Village of
Luvwi along the Bean and Whitfield Drains.
The Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Authority in conjunction
with dieampsicipal council has undertaken a study to review
the paafilallity of adopting a Two Zone Floodplain
Mani ant Policy for selected floodplain areas along the
Bean and Whitfield Drains within the Village boundaries.
Preliminary topics of floodplain &tapping and draft guidelines
for areas proposed for Two Zone Management will be
available for review and discussion. There will be a brief
presentation on details of the study at 7:15 p.tn.
If you own or have interest in property adjacent to the Bean
and Whitfield Drains, we urge you to snood to provide is
with your comments.

will be received by the undersigned.
District Health Councilsare local health plariiiibodies established to provide
advice to the Minister of Health on the health service needs of their communi-
ties. The goal of each DHC is to plan and develop a comprehensive health sys-
tem for the citizens it represents, designed to make the best possible use of
available .and potential resources.
Volunteers will possess skills in participatory decision-making, demonstrate an
enthusiasm for planning a healthy community ,amid be Ale to dew),e,#ppro i -
mately 12 hours per month to the position. - -
The members of council are chosen to represent a balance of:
1. Providers who are involved in the governance, management, or delivery of
health or health-related social services, or
Persons .trained as health professionals or para -professionals; and
2. Consumers with an interest in ,our local health system, but who are not.
involved in the actual delivery of health or health-related social services; alld
3. Representatives of local .government.
Individuals interested in serving on the District Health Council and able to
devote sufficient time and energy are invited to submit a resume to:
