Safety is the topic in Granton
By Muriel Lewis
GRANTON - Margaret Oakley was the hostess for
the Granton Women's Institute on Tuesday evening,
October 19. The program topic was Family and Consu-

Lucan spoke to the group about women's safety and
home security.
The roll call was answered by 'a new product and
why you like it'. Muriel Lewis gave a few thoughts on
the motto 'If you are dog tired at night, perhaps it is be-
cause you growled all day' and Olive Hodgins con-
cluded with a reading illustrating it, entitled 'Everyday
Thanksgiving'.
President Lewis chaired the meeting, opening with a
poem about Safety written by Dorothy Dobbie.
