Day trOs md touts erVoyed
AILSA CRAIG - The Keenagers
have experienced a variety of ac-
tivities over the five years at
Craigwiel Day Centre. Now well
into the sixth year, the good times
continue.
Of course, some activities that
have become old favorites, are re-
peated, such as having Evelyn
McNaughton share her travels
through slides. Though, there is
always an element of the new, for
she keeps going to new places and
experiencing new adventures.
Another old favorite is the, Day
Trip. The Keenagers revisited
Stratford this spring and toured the
streets to see the historic sites and
the beautiful architecture of some
of the grand old homes. On two
consecutive days we took the tour
and were treated to lunch in the
Garden Grove Restaurant.

A project undertaken by the
Keenagers is writing a book. It's ti-
tle is "This is Your Life". Each
page will'have a picture along with
a sketch of the life of one of the
Keenagers.
Another new activity is a contin-
ued story on Tuesdays. The group
has been reading "The Secret Gar-
den".
The group continues to find
work on crafts as well. For exam-
ple, the Pot Pourri Ribbons, Wall-
paper Fans and the latest, a tile
craft. Rena Lundy along with hus-
band Howard and granddaughter

ZURICH - A quiet week was had at the Blue Water Rest Home.
The residents took part in their usual activities of fun and fitness, news-
paper reading, games night, music listening, Bible reading, bingo and
shuffleboard, crokinole and euchre parties.
