Brothers win silver at Canadian Junior Championships
MONTREAL - A pair of Exeter
brothers travelled to the Beacons-
field, Quebec Lawn Bowling Club
over the weekend and returned with
a silver medal at the first ever Ca-
nadian Junior Lawn Bowling Tour-
nament.
Shawn and Allan McFalls, repre-
senting the Exeter Lawn Bowling
Club were among 56 boys and girls
frorft five provinces who participat-
ed in an open pairs competition.
There were two categories, 18 -
and -under and 19 to 25. Organizers
of the event hope this will become
an annual event as, in the past,
there has been an Ontario -Quebec
Junior Challenge of which Exeter
has won three of the past four
years.
The McFalls' lost their first two
Exeter Fury Brett Rldeout gave it all he had last Wednesday night, successfully taking the ball
from London's Panhellenic team quite a few times. But it wasn't enough for the Fury to defeat
the division leaders.
