March is Nutrition Month. Some people take 'bette
care of their clothes than they do of their bodies. From
Canada's Guildelines for Healthy Eating come these'
five great "do's":
1. Enjoy a variety of foods. Don't get Into a food rut.
2. Emphasize cereals, treads and other grain prodtfets-plus vegetables
and fruits as a part of every meal.
3. Choose tow fat foods. Select low-fat dairy products end trim the fat
from meat and remove the skin from chicken. Also prepare foods with-
out using fat...broil, bake or steam your food.
4. Maintain a healthy body weight by enjoying regular -physical activity
balanced by healthy eating.
5. Limit salt, alcohol and caffeine Intake. Alcohol Is a drug and is high In
calories. Choose non-alcoholic drinks.
Spring is a time of renewal...a good time to renew our vows to take bet-
ter care of our bodies.
It's kind of nice to deal with people you know, especially when it has to
do with your health. Give us a chance to get to know you.
