Is it just a way for countcil to pat themselves on the back when budget time comes around? Claiming to have reduced your tax bill, when in fact • all they are doing is taking money out of your other pocket. When has any government rolled back taxes? A waste reduction plan is to reduce the amount of garbage now, to save money later. In my opinion, this plan of tag- ging garbage bags will not reduce the amount of garbage going into the landfill site. My husband and I spoke politely to three snowmobile operators re- cently, requesting them to please stay off and spread the word to their friends.
