The poem below was wtitten by
Stephanie Pearson at Exeter Public School
Why I Shop in and Support Exeter
I've lived here my whole life,
And with me, She's gone through joy and strife
Exeter is just small and sweet,
And to go up town, that's just down the street
There's lots of -parking, and it's free,
That leaverPlenty of time for a shopping spree.
Many of these stores are generous to us,
When we ask for a donation, there's barely a fuss.
I like to help out as much as I can,
So the town can afford things and Exeter will expand.
If I didn't shop in and support Exeter,
.some people wouldn't have jobs,
And taxes would go up and my parents would be in a mob!
Exeter's a humble and loving town too,
Mid frankly we're nothing without you!
