The cold temperatures prevented

ed golfers completed nine holes or
more at Oakwood.
The Alhambrans hosted a great
Volunteer Day parade on Saturday
afternoon, despite the cold. Grand
Bend Legion #498 carried the flags
and all the caravans marched in
their colours.
A special mass was celebrated in
the Hall, with Auxiliary Bishop
Frederick Henry of Windsor. Fa-
ther J. Stortz of Windsor and Father
Paul Beck of Grand Bend. Music
was provided by Tom Denomme
and Roberta Walker. A lavish bar-
becued pork supper foil ed, golf
prizes were awarded, eluding
three trophies.
Sunday morning a Regional
Meeting was attended by all Sir
Nobles, chaired by Western Onta-

packed up to held for home, but a
hardy group from Windsor bun-
