A Community Bridal Shower
was held in the Varna Church in
honour of Bride-to-be Shirley Keys
(daughter of John and Mary Keys)
last wore. Ruby Hill welcomed
everyone and called on Cara and
LeeAnne Stephenson to sing "This
Little Light of Mine". A Signature
hunt game was played and thor-
oughly enjoyed by all. Everyone
found out different things about
each other. LeeAnne and Cara then
entertained with the spoons. These
pro tins are -very musically in-
clined and gifted withthistalent.
Leise Stephenson read a reading
entitled "Grandmother's Apron Got
Around". Elaine Stephenson read
the address to Shirley and then
Shirley was the recipient of many
lovely and useful gifts. A time of
fellowship and lunch followed to
complete the, evening.
Heather Beierling, Meggin Bart-
liffe Reid, Heather Laurie and Kim
Taylor were confirmed on Sunday
with Rev. George Phillips conduct-
ing the ceremony. Communion fol-
lowed the confirmation. Erin Keys
and Greg Keys were confirmed in
Goshen Church. Following the
church service each one of these
families celebrated with lunch and
a special family timc together.
Sincere sympathy goes out to the
family of Shirley and Bev Hill on
