of Bachelor of Applied Sci-

ic Energy Control Board in Ot-
tawa.

Fleming received her Bache-

has accepted a marketing po-
sition with Proctor & Gamble

SHIPKA - The 30th annual Ratz
reunion was held Sunday at the
hone Nola Evans of Lambeth. Fif-
ty relatives attended from London,
Thedford, Parkhill, Exeter, Credi-
ton and Shipka. •
Presiding officers were President
Harvey Ratz, sec. treas. Nola Ratz,
spores committee Mary Margaret
Thompson and Nancy Jane Jeffery.

nurses reunion, held June 10, at
Doris Astbury's home, in Lambeth
who was one of the classmates.

picnic was held on Sunday at the
Granton Park Pavilion Jeffrey
Bryan chaired the business in the
absence of the president Bruce Ar-
nold of Windsor. Margaret Bryan
was the secretary and in charge of
sports were Ann -Bryan and Arden
Van OosterhouL
Several Granton ladies attended
the C.W.L. supper held at St. Pat-
nck's School, Lucan on Wednes-
day evening. The guest speaker
was Jackie Wells, program co-
ordinator who showed a video and
spoke on the Palliative Cate volun-
teer program.
At the St. Thomas' Anglican
Church on Sunday. the Reverend
Stephen Emery's message was
about fear of God and His uncon-
ditional love. Scott Hodgins was
the reader and Melanie Beatson as-
sisted as server.
At the Gannon United Church
on Anniversary Sunday. the Rev.
Wm. Jones of Kirkton and Wood-
ham was the guest minister.

United Church on Tuesday .eve-
ning.

These classmates all began their
training at the old St. Thomas Me-
morial hospital which is now gone.
Most of their time was spent vis-
iting and reminiscing. Dorothy re-
ported visiting with some she had
not seen since beginning her nurses
training.

was at the old Springs museum,
where they saw a film on the begin-
ning of oil. and also a quilt display.
On the way home they stopped at
Reoce's Corners for dinner.
