enroute some club business was dis-
cussed.
Following the 4H -pledge, Sylvia
Beatson led the roll call answered
with introductions and by telling
whether clothes worn were bought
readymade or sewn at home, type of
fabric, likes and dislikes.
Officers elected were president
Charlotte Mcllhargey, Vice presi-
dent Katie Ewald, secretary Lec-
Anne Kelly and press reporter Syl-
via Beason.
On arrival at Polka Dot, leader
Deanna Beason eontaete4uwlerper-
son Teresa Wikox to explain the
nature of the visit.
.Wilcox• then showed the members
how. to use the patient catalogue
and how to read the back of a pat-
tern in regard to fabric, notions, etc.
.She also explained the differences
,.between cottons and blends, plus
the variety of interfacings available.
Finally before departing, Meatson
.preeetucd -Teresa with a Friend of
.4411 certificate.
A quick pica was enjoyed on the
..way hone, allowing the members
;dune to assess the outing before
:: closing with the 4H motto. The next
a-eeling is planned for April 23 at
