Thanks-
from
the Food Bank
On behalf of the 63 families who received a Christmas ham-
per, overflowing with food, poultry or- ham, presents for each
child, and most of all, the love of our neighbours who cared
enough to share, we at the Foodbank, say a great big thanks
to you. Our numbers more than doubled from last year, and so
did you giving. There is enough food in store, to hopefully last
till about April or May, unless things worsen quickly in our
economy. We especially thank the volunteer firefighters Asso-
ciation for their faithful efforts, the Parkhill Lions Club, for han-
dling the work at their end, as well as you, one of the hundreds
of individuals, or organizations who made this Christmas sea-
son, represent, the real meaning of the season, expressed of
most two thousand years ago by three Wisemen from the east,
to the Christ Child. •We also thank abuse in the Lucan, Exeter,
Centralia, Ilderton, Thedikrd and Grand Bend areas for their
support and anyone else we forgot to think
Please forgive us if we have not been able to thank you (ace to
face. The fears of appreciation and thankfulness, we saw on
the recipients faces, should be thaflks enough for all of us.
