LUCAN - The residents of Lucan
Lions Parkview lace had a busy
month during month of Deceni-.

ous Christmas decorations.
On Dccmber 9 they hid their an-
nual pre-Chrisunes dinner catered
by the Lucan Legion Ladies Auxil-
iary. There was a -good turnout and
the seniors had the added treat .of
not having to do dishes.
There was only one birthday for
the Month, .Robert 1io1Lpd's. After
an exchange of rooms
distributed ,from the the eve -
entertained the seniors with a wine
and cheese party. The fust part of
the program was the Junior choir
from the Anglican Church under
the able leadership of Beulah Har-
dy and Jackie Martens.
The aecond part of the program
was "the Paul Brothers and Shirley
from Kirkton This was definitely
no amawlr ahoy' and the audience
was treated to* tato of song( fait

Marjory Johns opened with a
poem "Miracle of Snow" followed
by a Sing song led by Jean Cope-
land- Linda Hodgins introduced
Jim and Beulah MacDougald who
showed slides and talked about
their most interesting trip to China.
They were thanked by Jean Rat-
cliffe.
Several door prizes were drawn
and Anna Peterson give the results
