the ceremonial lighting will take
place at Centennial Park.
Santa Claus will be there and so
will the Grand Bend Public School
Choir to help local residents ring in
the holidays.

Church service
Rev. Sheila Macgregor was in
charge of the Mission and Service
Sunday church service on Sunday
morning.
The congregation sang the chil-
dren's hymn "Jesus Teacher and
Friend". Rev. Macgregor gave the
children's message "Sharing Our
Time and our Talents".
The choir sang "Tis The Blessed
Hour of Prayer' accompanied by
the organist Agnes Bray.
John Miner gave the Minute for,
Mission "Sharing Yourself". ---
The scripture lesson was read by
Rev. Macgregor, John 13:1-9.
Rev. Macgrego is message was
entitled "The Man who Lived in the
Middle of November" a story to
prepare for Christmas and for
Christ.

A campfire workshop was held for local Scout and Guide leaders from Exeter, Lucan, Clinton,
Blyth, Grand Bend and Strathroy at the Exeter Youth Centre Saturday afternoon. Jim Moulton
