Sheila Macgregor. /The seasonal colour is green. The eoggregation sang the children's hymn God Sees The Little Sparrow Fall and Rev. Macgregor gave the children's message "Trevor and the Homeless". The choir sang Freely, Freely, accompanied by the organ- ist .Agnes Bray. Alan Hodgert read The Minute for Missions "Blessing in Comfort". Rev. Macgregor read the Scripture Lesson Daniel 7: 9- 14, Mark 13: 24-32. Rev. Macgre- gor's sermon was entitled "God's Presence in our Darkest Fears". St. Patrick's •to celebrate EQmmunion SiBURY - Sunday, No- venjber 24 St. Patrick's will cele- brate the Holy Communion service at 11 a.m. with. The November A.C.W. meeting wasiheld at the home of Hazel Ea- ton !on Tuesday evening. Margaret Carroll presided over the meeting, president Rose Cunningham is ill. Queensway craft and bake sale a success HENSALL - The support of the community helped to once again make the annual craft and bake sale a success. Residents continued trent from regular activities this past week, with the Bethel Reformed women in Monday afternoon to as- sist with bingo and a hymn sing. Rev. Phillips of Varna -Goshen United churches led our worship service with Floyd McAsh as pia- nist., On Friday baking club met and baked delicious diabetic oatmeal cookies along with oatmeal date muffins. Everyone then sampled them warm from the oven along with a cup of tea. A nice way to spend an afternoon. People with Love Loaf Banks are asked to please bring them to church as soon as possible. Sunday, November 24 is Mission Sunday. Children are asked to bring their Talent money to church and be ready to tell us how they made it grow. Adults are provided with spe- cial Mission offering envelopes. Joint Session are to meet at 7:30 p.m. and the Official Board at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20. E.T. Loonie Tunes (Youth Group next meeting is Thursday. Novem- ber 21 at 5:30 p.m. at Thames Road 238-8330 Take Out Dine in Church. Please bring $2 for crafts. The Confirmation Class will meet on Friday, November 22 at 4 p.m. at Thames Road church. Bible Study is held on Thursdays from 2-3 p.m. at Exeter Villa. Sunbeams will meet on Thurs- day, December 5 at 9:45 a.m. at Ev- ergreen Farms' Deer Farm with Tom Ellerington, then to Thames Road church for hot chocolate and doughnuts.
