Toddler's inn nursery school came for a visit. All three nursery classes visited the residents on
Wednesday and Thursday.

Anniversary service at Calvary

DASHWOOD - The one hundred
and thirty-ninth anniversary service
was held at Calvary United Church
Sunday. The guest speaker was
Rev. Ganni Lazaro of London. Spe-
cial music was provided by the
guest soloist Susan Graham, Exeter
accompanied by Julie Easterbrook.
The Zion Lutheran Ladies Guild
held their annual Thanksgiving din-
ner at Allen's Country Caf6, Dash-
wood. Smorgasbord for 18 mem-
bers and 11 guests.
The Altar guild for October is
Alma Genuner and Elaine Datars.
Judy Dougall will be the guest
speaker at next month's meeting
November 12.
Kathy Keller gave the closing de-
votions on the many ways we
should be thankful.
The Women's Institute held eu-
chre at the community centre. Priz-
es were won by: Shirley Marlene,
high lady; Greg Fleming, high man;
Jean Dann, low lady; Kevin Beier -
ling, low men; Elda Adams, lone
hands. The next euchre is Wednes-
day, October 30 at 8 p.m.

Patrick's at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Stephen Emery's children's fo-

at 11 a.m. with Bob MacGillivray

Thanksgiving weekend with Faye

Vicki and Lisa held a "Sock Hop"
to celebrate their mother Vesta's
60th birthday at Blackbush school
on Saturday.

Thanksgiving weekend was spent
at a cousin's cottage, Ron and Ei-
leen Smith, near Stokes Bay. Bud
and Genevieve Hall, Sandusky,

Helps, Sarnia joined them for the
"Smith's foursome cousins" reun-
ion.
Emil and Kathryn Becker visited
Clara Heckmen in Fort Erie to
help celebrate her 99th birthday.
The Dashwood Good Compan-
ions Seniors club will meet Mon-
day, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. The
club was informed of the newest

BY-LAW UNDER THE DEVELOPMENT
CHARGES ACT, 1989
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Exeter will hold a Public Meet-
ing on Monday, November 18, 1991, at 7:00 p.m., at the Exeter Municipal Building, 406 Main
Street South, Exeter, Ontario, to consider a By-law under the Development Charges Act, 1989.
Prior to the above-mentioned public meeting, the By-law will be considered in draft form at the Ex-
ecutive Committee of Council on Monday, November 4, 1991, at 7:00 p.m. in the same location.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
The proposed by-law would establish development charges to be levied at the time of application
to build a new dwelling or new• dwellings. In the past, impost fees were charged. However, Provin-
cial legislation now renders those fees invalid. Fees now must be set under the Development
Charges Act.
The proposed changes are as follows:
