GRAND BEND - About 5600
came to the Lambton Heritage Mu-
seum for the annual Christmas
Craft Show. Over 70 exhibitors of-
fered a wide variety of wreaths,
toys, dolls, Christmas ornaments,
country chic, pillows, candles,
stained glass, and many other treas-
ures destined to show up on or un-
der someone's Christmas tree. Thir-
ty of the exhibitors were outside,
braving the rain and sleet on Satur-
day, and welcoming Sunday's sun-
shine.
The same crowd of tourists and
locals toured the Farmers' Market
in Grand Bend. There were several
yard sales doing a brisk business on
Ontario street, Highway 21. Craft
and produce stalls lined the Main
Street of Grand Bend, also braving
Saturday's weather and basking in
Sunday's sunshine.
You could stock up on cider, ap-
ples of all varieties, squash, huge
pumpkins, decorative gourds, pota-
toes, onions, carrots, beets and rad-
ishes. The craft tables offered cro-

One booth featured stuffed ani-
mals - bunnies, mice, bears, cows
of various sizes, brightly decked
out as boys or girls in tiny overalls
or gingham frocks. There was even
a Humpty Dumpty doll in a neat
striped suit to delight a young
child.
On Saturday, several groups of-
fered fresh baked goods, which
quickly disappeared amid the
crowd. The Grand Bend Beavers,
Cubs and Scouts also participated
in their annual fund raiser, "Apple
Day", selling apples at various lo-
cations throughout town, and they
managed to sell most of their pro-
duce.
The Pinery Park enticed a num-
ber of tourists to tour its quiet roads
