SAINTSBURY - On Sunday the
family of Harry and Eileen Carroll
helped them celebrate their 59th
wedding anniversary at their son
Wayne's. Their attendants, Mrs.
Doris Mullins, London, sister of
the bride and Mr. Alvin Carroll,
London, bother of the groom were
able to be there.
Guests were from London and
Exeter. Eileen is a resident in Exet-
er Villa.
Lucan seniors
LUCAN - The Lucan Seniors
group met for its second business
meeting in the Scout Hall with Jim
Davis, vice-president, presiding.
Birthday greetings were extended
to Charlotte Barker, Verna Ibbitson
and Marjorie Steeper.
Elsie Gibson moved we check
prices on a new sound system. Har-
ry Noels seconded, Jim Davis vol-
unteered.
Lunch committee for next week
is Dean Gibson and Verna Ibbitson.
Chris Hall announced our craft
and bake sale and flea market to be
held Saturday October 5 at 10 a.m.
at the Masonic Rooms and asked
all members to donate a craft or
baked article for the joint effort.
The meeting adjourned for cards
and crafts.

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Town-
ship of Usborne in the County of Huron that the period during
which nomination papers may be filed in the office of the clerk
for the purpose of municipal elections will commence on Tues-
day, October 8th, 1991 at 9:00 a.m. and otintlnue during the
normal office hours of the Clerk until the close of nominations
_on Friday, OptQer 11.4991 at the hour of 5:00 o'clock in the af-
ternoon. Nominations will be received for the offices of:

DEPUTY -REEVE
COUNCILLORS (3 to be elected)
If there was an Insufficient number of candidates for any office,
additional nominations for the remaining vacancies in any office
may be filed in the office of the Clerk on the Wednesday follow-
ing nomination day (October 16) between the hours of 9:00
o'clock in the forenoon and 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
If a greater number of candidates than required to fill the above
offices are nominated, an advance poll will be held on Saturday,
November 2nd, and Wednesday November 6th, 1991 at Ausa-
bte-Bayfield-Usborne Boardroom, Morrison Dam (10:00 a.m. to
8:00 p.m.) and the regular poll will be held on Tuesday, Novem-
ber 12, 1991 (10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.).

At the United Church on Sunday
the Act of Praise was led by Stacey
Udall. Next Sunday there will be
no service at Centralia as Zion is
celebrating its anniversary service
at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to fol-
low and plans are made for the an- 1
nual craft show and yard sale on
October 5 with other yard sales in

nominations for the office in respect of which there was an in-
sufficient number of candidates.
