tions to the Usborne bantam girls
who won the 'A' championship on
Sunday. Jamie Healey pitched a no
hitter on Saturday against Exeter II,
winning 13-8, and then defeated
Exeter 12-6. On Sunday Healey
again pitched well, assisted by Ker-
ry Lynn Case. The team played
against Crediton winning 14-11.
The coaches are Don Wallis and
Doug Miners.

and Dorothy Knight at their trailer
at Point Farms, Goderich. Bill and I
had dinner and supper on Thursday
with Phil and Marjorie Johns at a
cottage at Grand Bend.
Robert and Kathy Bray, Vanessa,
Kristy and Jessica were guests at
the wedding of Doug Cooper and
Janet Hockey at Elimville United
Church on Saturday. Jessica was
flower girl for her uncle Doug
Cooper.
Church and Sunday School will
commence on Sunday, September 8
at 11:15 a.m.

from Granton attended the Kirkton
Horticultural Society's Festival of
Flowers at the Kirkton Community
Centre on Tuesday evening. The
highlight of the program was a
commentary and slides by Lynda
Hodgins on her trip to China last
March.
