Game() e
There was a lotof penalties hand-
ed out in the first period but neither
team could score last Tuesday night
in Thamesford.
A pair of second period goals
was the difference in the opener as
the Trojans went on to win 3-1.
Referee Mark Clark had trouble
figuring out who to send to the pen-
alty box at least once as he sent
Leitch to the box even though the
dcfcnceman was sitting on the
bench.
Lcitch went for roughing but it
was Bowers who tangled with Jim
Howard.
Lucan's Jack Legg put a good
move on Scott McKnight but
couldn't connect and Jon McEach-
ern also missed a good chance.
Josh Lewis scored at 13:56 to
give the home team the lead and
29 seconds later it was 2-0 on Di-
anni's tally.
Just 1:30 into the third frame,
Lucan got back into it when Bow-
ers scored on a backhander.
Thamesford added one more in
the third as McKnight scored with
Bob Brown getting his second as-
sist of the night.
