Golden Agers increase membership By Annie Morena GRAND BEND - Thirty-nine Golden Agers were out last Wednesday afternoon for their monthly meeting at Grand Bend Legion Hall. President Ron Dann presided. More new members were wel- comed bringing membership up to more than 80. Far the May meeting a 5:30 din- ner is planned, followed by a dance. Happy Birthday was sung for March celebrants. One of these was Olive Webb, 85 years young and one of our regular bowlers. In our recreation time we played euchre and solo and shuffleboard games. Being St. Patrick's month, our lunch tables were beautifully decorated with green candles and serviettes. The Seniors' euchre party will be held at the Legion hall in Grand Bend, March 13. All area Seniors welcome. Small admittance fee.
