Grand Bend
news
By Annie Morenz
GRAND BEND - Twelve ladies
gathered at Sauble Court for Bible
study Tuesday morning.
They studied the last chapter in
our present book 'Proverbs and
Parables", with God's wisdom for
living. Lesson leader was Doris f
Peebles, guiding us through Prov-
erbs 31 and the Parable of the
vine. In this Proverb we leaned
the qualities of a virtuous woman.
In the vine Parable we know Jesus
is the vine and the branches are
His believers.
In studying these Proverbs and
Parables we thought it made us
more aware of who is wise and
who is sinful.
Pearl Chamberlain closed with
prayer remembering sick and shut-
ins.
Eleven ladies from our church at-
tended the World Day of Prayer at
Christian Reformed Church Exeter.
it was a marvelous service.
