Zurich 4-H club
ZURICH - On May 29, our meet-
ing was held at Lakewood Nurseries
at St. Joseph's. Mike Miller and,
his wife Dianne graciously set aside
their other business to entertain an
educate us about trees and shrubs.
In the short tour Mike gave, he
taught us how to clip; plant and fer-
tilize the tree or shrub you choose
to hest suite your gardens.
Mike also showed us how to read
the tags which accompany the
plants, he told us to look for things
like, how big the shrub will grow
and the best suited location in
which to plant it. It certainly was a
very interesting time, which we
will not forget and we thanked
Mike and Dianne for their kindness.
