DOHERTY - At Henry Ford Hospi-
tal, Detroit, Michigan on Tuesday,
May 9, 1989, Richard Harrison Do-
herty of Mount Clemens, Michigan,
in his 64th year. He is survived by
his wife, Shirley A (Coates) Doher-
ty, daughter Denise Greiner and
son-in-law Christopher Greiner,
daughter Debra and son Richard,
and grandsons Joey and Danny
Greiner, all of Mount Clemens,
Michigan and son-in-law of Whitney
and Viola Coates, Exeter. Mr. Do-
herty was employed by the Macomb
County Public Works Commission;
was a prelinct delegate for the Dem-
ocratic Party; and was a U.S. Navy
SeaBee Veteran of World War II.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday,
May 12, 1989 at the Wujek-
Calcaterra Funeral Home, 36900
Schoenherr, Sterling Heights, Mich-
igan with Rev. Dr. Robert Battles
