The Village of Grand Bend is a tourist municipality with a year
round population of approximately 700 and summer season
population of 5,000 to 10,000 and is located in Lambton County
along the Lake Huron shoreline.•

DUTIES'
The applicants should have a knowledge of provincial legisla-
tion, programs and regulations which govern municipal affairs
and will be 'responsible for all statutory duties of a municipal clerk
treasurer. The applicant must have financial and accounting ex-
perience and the ability to analyze and communicate a variety of
administrative and financial information. Excellent communica-
tion and public relations skills are required. Duties will include the
preparation of Council agendas and minutes, processing of cor-
respondence, attendance of Council meetings and other meet-
ings as required, preparation of by-laws, co-ordination of grant
programs, dealing with planning and development matters, and
other duties as assigned by Council. Familiarization with comput-
er technology for finance and administration methods would be
an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in munic-
ipal administration and preference will be given to applicants who
have completed the A.M.C.T. course.
SALARY
The salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
