the IEEE award for excellence in
his thesis. Bill and his wife Fen-

Melbourne, Australia. We are

Hartley Ritchie
Weare pleased to announce
that Mr. Hartley- Ritchie is
moving from London to join
our staff on the first of June.
Hartley has over 30 years of
experience in installing, ser-
vicing and repairing heating,
cooling and refrigeration
equipment, and he will be a
valuable and welcome mem-
ber of our team. He is a li-
cenced electrician, gasfitter
and refrigeration mechanic,
and his experience and ex-
pertise will help us to provide
even better service in our ex-
isting work, as well as expand
into commercial refrigeration
and other related fields.

Bible school begins soon

HENSALL - The United Church
is looking for volunteers to help
with their Vacation Bible School
held mornings from June 26 to 30.
The catchy title of this year's ses-
sion is "Sonseeker Safari".
Those interested in helping can
call Bev Bell at 263-5579.
The United Church will also be
welcoming Rev. Hawley from Ex-
eter next Sunday as a guest speak-
er. Hawley is the incoming chair-
person for the Huron -Perth
Presbytery.
Nursery School
The Hensall Nursery School is
opening its doors on Thursday June
1 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 so that
parents and children thinking about
enrollment next fall can get a
chance to observe. the school pro-
gram in action. •
North/South
The Kinette North/South Chal-
lenge is still going ahead for May
31 when everyone will get a chance
to join in this one -day participac-
tion event.
Participants can pick up maps
and register at the Village Office
Mothers' Day Tea - The Blue Water Rest Home was full of moms
and daughters Saturday afternoon for the annual bake sale, tea
and craft sale. Enjoying a spot of tea around this table are Verda
