EXETER - Hello from everyone
at the Exeter Villa. Sorry to have
missed last week. We have some
catching up to do.
We enjoyed having the Senior
Citizen Group for their monthly
Bingo. We appreciate their faithful-
ness and after all, Bingo is our fa-
vourite game!
The Christian Reformed Church
has filled our halls with music on
two occasions lately. The choir vis-
ited during the last week in April
and the male choir visited just last
week.
Residents in the Nursing Home
took advantage of the spring weath-
er to go out for lunch. Thanks so
much to the staff of Kentucky Fried
Chicken for their helpfulness during
our visit.
Our Thursday Baking for Bingo
group have been busy lately. Our
Monster Cookies with M+M's were
a huge success with not only the
residents but especially the staff.
Last week we tried Banana Oatmeal
Muffins.
Rev. Sheila Macgregor of the
Thames Road and Elimville United
Churches, conducted our worship
service with Communion in the
Lodge last month. Thanks to Mar -

jorie Johns and the other ladies of
the church for their help with the
music. Last week Rev. Henry
VanEssen of the Bethel Reformed
Church conducted our services.
Our Lioness hosted their monthly
program. Last month they featured
mouth organ music. Thanks to the
musicians and to the ladies for the
lovely lunch.
Residents and staff are saddened
by the passing of two friends. Our
sympathy goes to the families and
friends of Mary Stewart and Carmen
Roeszler.
This week there will be a very
special birthday at the Villa. Mabel
McNichol is celebrating her 100th
birthday. Congratulations Mabel.
Happy Birthday to staff member
Kim Murray.
Belated birthday wishes go to
Louis Linger, Beatrice Woods and
staff members Jan Ryan, Glenda
Desjardine and Linda Foran.
Thought for the week: The best
way to forget your own problems is
to help someone else solve his.

On May 1, 1989, the Exeter Pub-

at Exeter Public School. '
