Legion Auxiliary
EXETER - The Ladies Auxiliary
to the R.E. Pooley Exeter Branch
167 Royal Canadian Legion held
their regular meeting Monday April
25 with 38 members present.
President Ernie Robinson chaired
the meeting. Elsie McDonald won
the mystery prize and Mary Thomp-
son the Sports Friend Draw.
Second vice-president Marilyn
Riley presented on behalf of the
Auxiliary a departing gift to Peg
Kearstead and wished her well in her
new surroundings.
Fifty dollar donations were made
to The Diabetic Association, The
Salvation Army and The Canadian
Cancer Society.
A $15 donation was made to the
Zone C1 Clock Fund to the placed
in a ward in the Veterans Parkwood
Hospital.
Invitational bowling tournaments
were accepted from Goderich May
13 and Seaforth on May 31.
Plans were finalized for our out-
ing on Wednesday, June 7.
• The Auxiliary will provide lunch
for the Middlesex Huron Cadet In-
spection held Thursday, May 25 at
Huron Park.
Next'General meeting Monday,
May 22. The Installation of our
1989-90 officers will be held at our
May meeting.
