Fourteen -act Zurich Skating Club show called 'world class'
By Carmel Sweeney
ZURICH - The annual Zurich
Figure Skating Carnival went over
as a big success once again, due in
large to the hard work of the volun-
teers who worked with the skaters
and their costumes to create a
"Crystal Fantasy" for parents and
relatives to remember.
Guest skaters Kathy and Jimmy
Judge were joined by Zurich's own
Kathy Merner, who unfortunately
was unable to perform in a dance
pair number because of the absenc3
of her partner Paul Armes. Howev-
er, Meurer did impress the audience
with a solo performance emcee
Doug Oesch called :'world class".
Proud parents with video and still
cameras couldn't get enough of the
fourteen -event show and were deter-
mined to leave with a permanent
record of Zurich Figure Skating's
main event of the year.
