Special music was provided by the quar- tette from Centralia. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fenton and family of Belgrave and Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Morgan of Sarnia attended the Ebeneezer Decoration Service on Sunday. April Hodgins had a few holidays with her grand- parents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morley last week. Forty-two children and adults attended the Sunday School and Church picnic held at the Brinsley United Church on Sunday-. Mrs. Earl -Lewis won the prize- for the guessing contest on the Church. The children went on a short hay -ride. Prizes for contest and races were given followed by a pot -luck dinner. Miss Cindy Prest of Scarborough spent the week - %kith her parents Mr and Mrs. George Prest. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morley and April Hodgins visited last Friday with Mr. 'and Mrs.Joe Durand and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Trevithick and Ruth visited a few days with Mrs.Don Newey and girls of Kingston and also Mr. Don Newey who was a patient in the. hospital for awhile .there. They returned home on Sunday afternoon. Rev. Clyde and Mrs. Westhaver of Dungannon visited with Mrs. Violet Allison and Kathleen Morley on Sunday afternoon. David Corbett and his cousin Rob Coates of London are attending camp Ponacha near Bancroft. Mr and Mrs. Jim Lum- sden of Strathrov visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Trevithick. Thames Road people busy By MRS. WILLIAM ROHDE Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hargreaves spent last week with their son and his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Hargreaves at Sweaburg. On Saturday they were guests at the wedding of their niece, Miss Betty Hargreaves, to Mr. David Sadler at St. David's ' United Church. Woodstock. On Saturday evening they stayed with her sister and husband Mr. and Mrs. Jack Griffin, of Cath- cart, returrung to their home here. Mr and Mrs William Roh- de spent a feu' days last week at Chesley Lake Mrs Fred Cunnington of Centralia accompanied Mr and Mrs. Howard Cun- nington to the funeral of the former's brother-in-law. Lloyd Shantz, at St. John's Lutheran Church Kitchener on Thursday Mr and Mrs, Ken Ferguson of Hensall Mr. and Mrs. JohnBattenof Elimville. and Mr. William Johns were Sunday evening supper guests with Mr. and Mrs David Passmore. Mrs. Fred .Cunnington of Centralia and Mr and Mrs. Howard Cunnington and family attended the Bender reunion on Sunday at the home of Mr and Mrs Joe Caswell. London.
