Nursery schoolers visit GBzoo

playground started Tuesday
for Huron Park and area for
youth ,aged 4 to 12 at the
McCurdy school. Anyone
interested in registering
your youngsters for
S.P.A.R.K. can do so by
going down to the school and

seven weeks until August 17
and costs $7 per child. $12 for

Good response to play
"It was just great" and
"so true to life."
These were two• of the

play of the season at the
Blyth Summer Festiva.
This Foreign Land was the
opening presentation and
humorously depicted the
joys apd frustrations of three
immigrant families coming
to Canada in 1951 and con-
tinuing through to 1928
Featured was the ver-
satility of the seven actors
and actresses who each
played a number of different
parts.
The play opens with scenes
in Europe when govern-
mental approval to come to
Canada-. is. received and
follows the immigrants
through to their settling in
Fjuron County. _
Fridays' performance was
marred somewhat when
actress Seava McKenna was
injured in,a fall at the end of
the first act after the lights
dimmed.
She suffered cuts
necessitating .six stitches.
The balance of the cast
completed rhe second act
with slight variations,` but
Saturdays' show was can-
celled.

was groomsman. Guests were ushered by Bev Coolmon and
John Blanchard. The couple travelled to Niagara Falls and
